Announcements - Week of Nov. 17

ASME UC San Diego has a number of events this week.

Tuesday:

• IEEE Tournament - Laser tag tournament, $8 per person.
  
• Spill It - Dinner and networking event with alumni in CSE 1202.
• Human Powered Submarine - Project meeting in EBU-II, room 584 at 7 PM.
  

Wednesday:

• Dinner with the Deans - Quarterly TESC event where select students dine with professors, industry professionals, and the Dean of the Jacob School of Engineering in CSE 1202.

Thursday:

• SPAWAR Tour - Students that RSVPed will attend a tour of the SPAWAR facility in San Diego. Limited spots available. Attire is business casual. Students attending should meet in the EBU-II courtyard at 9:50 am. Contact ASME UC San Diego David Waltzman for details or plan changes.

Friday:

• Triton Robotix - Project meeting in EBU-II, room 479 at 5 PM. Check the Triton Robotix website for additional details.
• Game Night - Joint event with ASME UC San Diego, AIAA, and CSES. Set up starts at 6 PM, while the event officially starts in EBU-II, room 584 at 7 PM. Games will include various board games and Rockband.

Additional Announcements:

• There will be one last ASME UC San Diego General Body Meeting for the quarter on Monday, November 23, 2009 in EBU-II, room 479 at 7 PM. The GBM will be a social event with free potluck.
• The CPK Fundraiser profits came in and results are good. Thank you, again, for all that participated.
• The Human Powered Vehicle team has a new official website. Their posts and updates can now be found here: http://groups.google.com/group/2010-BulletCycles-ucsd
• Several updates have been made to this website to make things look nicer.
